10 Manners Of Reading The Quran

Beginning with Al-Fatihah and ending with An-Nas, the Holy Quran is the fourth and last heavenly manuscript revealed by Allah Almighty. It was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) in parts over 23 years.

By fulfilling the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, we should hold the Holy Quran in our right hand to show him due admiration. Narrated Hazrat A’ishah (R.A):

“The Prophet (PBUH) used his right hand while applying perfume while eating and used his left hand for toilet or removing any injury.” (Abu Dawood)

It means that Rasulullah ﷺ always used his right hand when doing some (good) work and used his left hand to perform other actions. Therefore, the right hand should be used while handling and reading the holy verses of the Qur’an.
